Moving home

Depending on your lease, we have up to two months to find a suitable buyer for the share of your home, and you should not instruct an estate agent during this period.

For an outline of the process, take a look at our Guide to Selling, and once you are ready, please email postsales@moat.co.uk to request a selling pack, quoting your customer reference number and property address.
Your home will need to be valued by one of our panel of Chartered Surveyors. If the property is jointly owned, both parties must agree to the sale.

You may be able to apply for another shared ownership property – either with Moat or another housing association – subject to various criteria.
